What we do

PlayBonusGuide exists because bonus marketing and bonus reality are often two different things. Our job is to close that gap. For every offer we list, we:

• Check promo codes against the operator's live promotions
• Read the full terms — wagering, minimum odds, expiry, caps and exclusions
• Explain those terms in plain English on every card
• Score each offer with our Bonus Value Score, a 0–10 editorial rating of how fair and usable the terms are
• Show a last-checked date so you know how fresh the information is

How we check offers

1. Collect the offer and its full terms

   We take the promotion and its complete terms and conditions directly from the operator — not from press releases or other affiliate sites.

2. Verify the code

   If a promo code is involved, we confirm it appears in the operator's current promotion and note where it must be entered.

3. Extract the terms that matter

   Wagering multiplier and base, minimum odds, expiry, game or market contribution, bet caps and withdrawal limits — pulled out and shown on the card.

4. Score the offer

   The terms feed into the Bonus Value Score, our 10-factor editorial rating. The method is explained in our bonus value guide.

5. Publish and recheck

   Every listing goes live with a last-checked date and is rechecked on a rolling basis. Dead offers are marked Expired, not quietly removed.

How we make money

PlayBonusGuide is free to use. We earn money in two ways:

• Affiliate commissions. When you claim an offer through one of our links, the operator may pay us a commission. This never changes the terms, the odds or the price you receive.
• Sponsored placements. Some operators pay for prominent placement. These are always marked with a Sponsored badge so you can tell them apart at a glance.

Neither revenue stream influences the Bonus Value Score, which is editorial. The full details are on our affiliate disclosure page.

What we don't do

• We are not a casino or a bookmaker. We hold no licences to take bets, and we never will.
• We don't take bets or hold customer funds. Every account, deposit and wager happens on the operator's site, under the operator's terms.
• We don't guarantee winnings. No bonus, tip or score changes the fact that betting involves real risk of loss.
• We don't list offers we cannot check. If we cannot see the full terms, the offer does not appear on the site.

Market focus

Nigeria is our first and current market — every listing, guide and example on the site is built around Nigerian operators and the naira. We are expanding to other African markets next, with South Africa, Kenya and Ghana already marked as coming soon in the country picker. Each new market gets the same treatment: locally checked offers, local currency, and terms read before publication.
